The more I look at this painting the more I like it. It really frustrated me for a while. I have tried some new things with my painting surface and I am not quite sure I like it. So during this painting I really felt like I was struggling against the surface. In the end I just said to heck with it and took a bigger brush ( because if there is ever a problem I usually just say use a bigger brush and give'r) and I just made a few strokes and told my self this is as good as it is going to get. So I set it aside and did a new painting and when I came back to it it didn't look so bad as I thought it was. In fact it is looking pretty damn good, if I may say so myself.
